                                      Irish Soda Bread


                                              

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups all purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 pint sour cream
1 cup raisins
1/4 cup caraway seeds (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 325.  Grease two 8x4 inch loaf pans.

Mix together flour, sugar, soda, powder and salt.  Add the eggs sour cream and raisins and mix until just combined.  Divide evenly between the two pans.  

Bake at 35 for 1 hour.
